With government focus on the decarbonisation of economies, heat pump technologies are receiving greater awareness and funding to drive progress from gas boilers towards renewable energy sources.
Our CRC technology offers important benefits for heat pump applications: low noise levels; compact, scalable technology; high pressure ratios (which means the technology produces low global warming potential); and 100% duty cycle for continuous operation.
DEVELOPED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY
The CRC technology has a rotor geometry that can be modified to act as a 100% liquid pump and demonstrates low pulsation characteristics. The scalable nature of the CRC technology with its capabilities of high pressure in a single stage, 100% duty cycle, compact and lightweight make it an ideal technology for this application. This is at the heart of the work we are undertaking in conjunction with the European Space Agency who are developing a pump for a rocket propulsion application
