Join Vert at the Advanced Machining Workshop

The Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Centre (AMAC) at Training 2000 is pleased to be hosting Quickgrind and Schunk in delivering an advanced machining workshop.

Vert will present the Nautilus A100, a new generation quiet micro-screw compressor for CMM’sCNC’s and other manufacturing machinery, with virtually no vibration, low noise, an integrated Class 1 filter providing the highest air purity. Vert created the Nautilus to replace old, traditional noisy piston compressors that have not changed for the last 150 years. Vert presents a totally new air compressor for industries of the future.

Quickgrind will be demonstrating their UK manufactured solid carbide cutting tools programmed by QuickCamPro, using OPEN MIND’s hypermill software incorporating Schunk’s work and tool holding devices.

The events are aimed at anyone involved in CNC manufacturing of complex components and will be held during a morning or an afternoon session with time for networking and refreshments.

Guest speaker Olly Dmitriev, named Inventor of the Year in Scotland and one of Top-100 figures in UK Manufacturing in 2017, will will be explaining how working with AMAC, OPEN MIND, Schunk and Quickgrind has helped his company, Vert Rotors, develop high pressure silent mobile compressors as well as winning numerous awards for innovative solutions.
