A high-quality endorsement of Edinburgh-based Vert Technologies’ products has been paid by Cranfield University spin-out business, Loxham Precision, with its request for one of Vert’s advanced, low-noise A150 compressors to power its new Aerolox ultra precision air bearing motion systems at the China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE) in Shenzhen, China from 9-11 September 2020.
CIOE is the world’s leading exhibition for manufacturers, equipment vendors and service providers seeking to develop their businesses by venturing into the Chinese market.
Loxham Precision, which manufactures ultra-precision machines and motion systems, selected Vert’s A150, 150lpm compressor because its low noise and vibration levels can deliver highly controlled pressure to their precision instruments, doing so unobtrusively such that any exhibition stand conversation can be held with visitors whilst the machines and motion systems are being demonstrated.

The Vert Conical Rotary Compressor (CRC) technology has won multiple awards since the first working prototype was produced and has been described as the biggest advance in the compressor industry in 40 years. The company now collaborates with global OEMs to integrate its unique technology into new applications in sectors such as refrigeration, heat pumps, cooling and expanders.
The core CRC technology is also integrated into a Vert branded compressor range which offers a portable, low noise & vibration, 100% duty source of compressed air which is ideal for hand held tools, fibre optic cable blowing and decentralised air provision. Vert employs 14 people at its Manufacturing and Design centre on the southern edge of Edinburgh
Vert is currently accelerating commercial sales of its compressor units, powered by its patented CRC technology.
